As an Engineer Officer you will be responsible for leading your team and making technical decision when it matters most. You will receive world-class training, providing you with the skills to manage large teams of highly skilled technicians in supporting the latest technology and delivering cutting-edge capability for the RAF in the UK and internationally.

Engineer Officers (Aerosystems) manage the design, maintenance and operation of the RAF’s aircraft and supporting technology. You’ll be a leader, as well as a technical-decision maker, responsible for ensuring our aircraft are ready to fly at a moment’s notice.

Not only will you be involved with the practical maintenance of vehicles, the safety of munitions and other explosive materials, you will also shape the future of the RAF with influence over air-safety policy and direction.

Requirements

Be aged 21 – 36 years old
An accredited Bachelors or Masters degree in an appropriate engineering or scientific subject
Be a UK, Republic of Ireland or Commonwealth citizen
Pass the Officer and Aircrew Selection Centre
Pass a General Fitness Test

During initial training = £25,984 + Benefits
After initial training= £31,232 + Benefits
