We would be delighted to welcome an enthusiastic and eager to learn Apprentice to our friendly team, to provide excellent customer care to our employees and the team with administrative support, whilst working towards becoming a Payroll Officer.

The successful candidate will complete a Business Administration Apprenticeship as part of the role.

A normal days tasks would initially include

To carry out general administrative duties, including, spreadsheets, photocopying, filing, mailings, and sorting correspondence
To assist in the maintenance and periodically review the paper filing systems of the Payroll Department, to ensure a well co-ordinated and efficient system of storage, location and retrieval
Management of incoming timesheets to ensure they are all logged in and filed correctly
Assisting Payroll colleagues with resolving queries
Call answering and logging on to the Customer Care system

To provide high standards of service, quality and customer care.

What you could go on to do

The expectation is to progress to being a fully qualified and experienced Payroll Officer
How you will be supported
In house training and support will be provided together with the training and support that will be provided by the expert training and assessment staff at The Skills Company.
