This is a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven individual keen to gain practical administrative experience within a fast paced and successful team, while completing a nationally recognised qualification. You will be empowered to take initiatives, make decisions and manage your own workflow.
Monday – Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
Total hours per week: 37.50

Advanced Level Apprenticeship
Your roles and responsibilities:
Assisting with expense claims
Assisting with the organisation & setup of events
Raising purchase orders
Arranging meetings as required
Ad-hoc project based work
Assisting with some facilities duties
Ad hoc catering support
Any other duties as required
Requirements and prospects
Excellent organisation and time-management skills
Looking to gain administrative experience whilst working in a fast-paced office environment
You will ideally feel confident using Microsoft Office packages including Word, Excel & Outlook
Solid attention to details
Enthusiastic and driven
Proactive, flexible and team-oriented approach
Strong desire to learn and develop
Strong communication skills both verbal and written
Be highly reliable and punctual
A minimum of 5 GCSE’s C and above Including maths, English and ICT (or equivalents)
There will be a permanent opportunity at the end of your apprenticeship as well as future progression onto a Level 4 course.
Things to consider
The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.70 per hour as of 1st of April 2018. This rate applies to apprentices under 19 and those aged 19 or over who are in their first year. Apprentices must be paid at least the minimum wage rate for their age if they are aged 19 or over and have completed their first year. The minimum wage rates are £5.90 an hour for 18-20 year olds; £7.38 for anyone aged 21 to 24 and £7.83 for those over 25.

The Business Administrator apprenticeship programme is designed to help you become an excellent contributor towards operational efficiencies within a business. This will include interacting with both internal and external customers in a professional way, as well as applying skills learned throughout the programme within a business environment. The programme will include various workshops to aid with your development throughout, alongside: mentoring; reflection logs; PDP and much more.
