What you’ll do
You will be responsible for carrying out recycling operative tasks at our Padworth Materials
Recovery Facility. Other duties include:
Ensuring materials are separated to meet the required standards of the markets as directed
Picking individual materials off the sorting conveyor as directed
Ensuring the work area is kept in a clean and tidy condition
Completing any training required for the role

The experience you will need
Experience within the waste industry is a high advantage
Ability to communicate effectively within a team and with the general public
Work on own initiative as well as part of a team
Reliable, punctual and customer orientated

Where you’ll work
As a recycling operative for a Material Recovery facility that separates mixed recyclable material into several different waste streams, you will be based at the plant in West Berkshire as part of a small dedicated team within a large integrated waste contract.
