Description of the job
There are over 10000 Aircraft in service with more than 500 customers worldwide. These aircraft must be supported 24/7 in the
event of any damage caused or found during operations. We provide straightforward Engineering solutions to keep the Aircraft
flying in a safe, efficient and reliable manner ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. Our responsibility is for Outer Wing and
High lift devices. We are an engaged, multi-skilled, worldwide team, supporting and continuously improving the reliability of the

The Structures Repair Group are responsible for analysing and responding to Aircraft Operator generated In Service Queries
(ISQ). The ISQ consists of a TRM (tech request) generated front sheet from the relevant SE team in Toulouse accompanied with
an operators damage report. Responsibility includes ensuring all tasks and activities required for Repair Engineering tasks are
correctly planned, resourced, monitored and executed to meet customer timescales and to quality requirements.
The intern will be directly involved in the day to day working of the department to establish and record ways of working and
approach used for both daily repair and any lean activities such as process development and generic repair solution.
This will require access and understanding of the ways of working across Outer Wing and Highlift and the interaction with SE
departments and Airworthiness, Aerodynamics, Loads etc.
You must be an undergraduate for the full duration of the placement, studying towards a degree in one of the following:
Aerospace, Aeronautical or Mechanical Engineering.
– Good team player
– Work experience preferred but not essential
