Mindshare forms part of GroupM, WPP’s combined digital media agencies. The group is now the world’s largest search specialist inside a marketing services holding company and will have a greater geographic footprint than any competitor.

The Mindshare Global FAST (Future Adaptive Specialist Team) Hub currently works across a number of global clients including, HSBC, Jaguar and Land Rover, American Express and Pandora.

The SEO Apprentice role will report into the SEO Manager regarding day-to-day responsibilities and career development.

Principal accountabilities:

Learning to become a practitioner in all elements within SEO including Technical, Content & Offsite
Focus on the supporting the strategic development of Owned Media solutions for an array of multi-market clients
Attend client meetings, provide outstanding levels of client service to all team clients in a proactive manner
Ensure you hit deadlines and manage clients work flows and tasks for all search related work
Create from briefs client specific keyword landscapes and content topics
Support the benchmark reporting and analysis of client campaigns
Conduct technical and content audits and provide recommendations
Work with reporting tools to analyse performance and provide recommendations with the support of senior team members
Provide Owned Media POVs for regular client updates to support campaign actions, reporting and strategies discussions
Develop an understanding of the services we offer and how we offer them
Key challenge:

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in SEO and owned media optimisation. You will need to familiarise yourself with SEO tools, the client background and participate actively in internal and specific client discussions.

Performance measures:

The SEO Executive will be expected to help manage client projects, as well as display effective communication within the team and with key suppliers and internal client teams.

Desired qualifications
A minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent qualifications) at grade C or above including English and Maths.

Future prospects
Ongoing employment at this or another agency or progress onto a higher level qualification.
