The Airbus Defence and Space Satellite Communications UK/US Government Service Delivery department provides the management and operations of worldwide secure satellite communication services to key military and government customers.

We provide the main Customer and User interface working in a fully integrated environment providing high specification services to operational theatres around the world. Working closely with other commercial satellite suppliers we offer a full range of secure satellite communication capabilities. Delivering Service Excellence is our ethos.


During this internship, the activities you may undertake will include;

¤ Ensure services are delivered to specification.

¤ Ensure customer is happy with services delivered.

¤ Management of the customer interface to ensure that current and future needs are met.

¤ Maintain service catalogue.

¤ Continuous improvement of processes and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.

¤ Ensure services are delivered profitably.

This job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.

Please note our Internships are open to Undergraduates only. Therefore it is mandatory for candidates to be an undergraduate for the whole duration of the placement.

Successful candidates will be able to demonstrate the following;

¤ Currently studying towards a degree in IT, Business, Engineering or related subject.

¤ An interest in technology, communications and / or service delivery.

¤ An understanding of the importance of excellent customer service.

¤ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

¤ Good team working skills.
