Job overview / purpose

As the business expands, we are looking for bright, technically savvy apprentices to join our team and embark on the IT Infrastructure Technician Level 3 apprenticeship programme.

Key responsibilities

From day one, you will become a valued member of the Service Desk team responsible for:

  • Providing the first point of professional contact for GCI’s Managed Service customers
  • Provide first time resolution

This will be achieved by basic troubleshooting and diagnosis at the first point of contact.

  • You will join and become a fully engaged team member, passionate about customer service and technology.

Candidates must have a relevant IT related A-level and must have demonstrable experience of working in a call centre environment ideally providing technical support.

Working week

37.5 hrs per week, under shift patterns

Shift work: 7 x 24 hour working pattern


£12,300 – £15,300 per annum. Plus shift allowance.
