As a Software/Web Developer apprentice, you will work as part of a flexible, committed and busy software delivery team.

You will be building a technology platform to support one of the most exciting fast growth FinTech start-ups in the UK.

At NFS, we use the latest cloud-based technologies and methodologies. We have a high release cadence, meaning that what we are working on today is in production tomorrow making an impact to the business.

We’re offering the opportunity for an apprentice to join the team, to learn about how we deliver technology in a fast-paced commercial environment, to learn about the latest technologies on the NET stack, and most importantly the opportunity to make an impact to one of the most exciting fast growth FinTech companies.

You’ll be working with the development team based in our UK HQ. Some of your time will be working with the SCRUM team delivering sprints of new functionality to the business; some of your time you’ll be working with the Kanban team delivering the most urgent changes; and some of your time will be spent building prototypes for upcoming projects.

You’ll have the full support of the development, test, UX and product teams. You may even have the opportunity to visit our US office in LA a part of an assignment.

Responsibilities include:

Develop code as part of the wider development team
Unit test
Execute prototype projects to a point of feasibility
Contribute to wider team ethos of continuous improvement and learning
