The successful applicant will be working with the software team at Attercopia in order to support within areas such as PHP, CSS and HTML.

Your duties and responsibilities in this role will consist of:

Working alongside the Senior Test Analyst to identify areas where current client websites can be updated to increase UX
Developing knowledge in front and back end web technologies in order to aid in the deployment of client websites
Discussing any production processes or ideas you feel should be implemented to help with faster website builds
Participating in regular online training to gain new skills in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, Jscript, JQuery, Bootstrap, Linux, and other areas that you may be interested in that are a benefit to the department as a whole.
Liaising with clients to ascertain their requirements for certain projects through the company’s ticketing system in order to quote for new and existing development projects
Proactive approach to selling – being able to look at client websites and propose development projects that will contribute to their overall business goals

5 GCSEs grades A-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English Language and Maths)

The Estio Training programme gives young people the opportunity to get hands on experience in the IT industry whilst still employed in a real paid job with no cost or debt.

Learners will receive ten weeks of intensive training. Whilst in the workplace, apprentices will also receive continual assessment, and help and guidance from a dedicated trainer who will be there to ensure that they get the most from their work experience.

This apprenticeship will give you a Level 3 Software Development Technician Standard with training in areas such as:

Functional skills, Maths L2 and English L2
Software Design Fundamentals
User Interface Design
System Development
Software Development Context & Methodologies
Database Software
Some of these modules will include an option to take an examination in order to receive a professional certificate.
