A top 20 National Accountancy Practice is currently seeking to recruit an aspiring Tax Accountant of the future in their Midlands office. You will be based in Oldbury, working in the Private Client team and we will support you to obtain the professional ATT Tax qualification. What you can expect:
Our programme lasts five years and allows you to combine work experience with studies for professional qualifications in tax. Support will be provided to study for and obtain the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) qualification.
The ATT are the leading professional body for those providing UK tax compliance services.

We provide in-house training to complement your examination study. These courses continue throughout your professional career to build your technical and personal skills. You will have consistent support and mentoring from the firm and your counselling partner.
Typically, you will be involved in the following areas
– Preparing and submitting corporate and personal tax computations;
– Learning how to prepare accounts;
– Liaising with HMRC;
– Researching and providing support for advisory projects;
– Report directly to the Tax Seniors and Tax Managers
BBC (or equivalent UCAS points) from three ’A Levels’ (or equivalent) this will equate to 112 points under the new ’A’ Level scoring system.
At least five GCSE grades B or above in English Language and Maths
You will have good IT skills which will include Microsoft Excel
18 months initially
As a Tax Apprentice with Kaplan, you will complete the ATT qualification at Level 4 (Diploma). The completion of the ATT qualification will be completed at a Kaplan Training centre or via the Live Online learning platform. Apprenticeships will include the NVQ, Technical Certificate, Functional Skills (if required) and Employment Rights and Responsibilities.
