The Body Shop at Home has more than 8,000 consultants running their own businesses throughout the UK to sell The Body Shop products to their family, friends or social networks that they create. They are our primary focus as our key customers. The people that buy products from them at parties are the consumers (guests). The customers use an internal system called Jenkon to get up to date information, maintain contact records and place orders. This system is therefore critical to the operations of The Body Shop At Home (TBSAH).

The Business Administration Apprentice will learn the systems and operational requirements of a direct sales channel in a global retail business.This should support your learning and career development going forward with transferable skills.

Your key responsibilities will be:

Operations
– Weekly stock monitoring of key products and product packs
– Investigating and responding to care centre queries relating to product availability
– Daily check of a random selection of consultant registrations to ensure correct process is being followed and providing vendor approvals in SAP
– Verifying evidence for bank account changes requested by consultants and providing approval in SAP
– Assist with Article Phases when requested by Supply Chain

Reporting
– Daily reporting to highlight consultants who have not complied with ordering limits
– Weekly reporting to identify and celebrate consultant achievements in sales and recruiting
– Assist with month end reporting
– Daily reporting of Regional Manager YTD sales figures

Events & Conferences
– Provide support ahead of and during TBSAH Conferences
– Provide support ahead of Regional Manager Meetings
– Provide support ahead of and during Consultant VIP Events

Working Relationships (where applicable)
– UK Finance, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Sitel (care centre), Jenkon, Regional Managers

It will take at least 12 months to gain the Level 2 Business Administration Apprenticeship. Your training will take place in the workplace where you will get to learn practical skills by experiencing the real working environment. You will shadow qualified team members so that you are able to learn first-hand how to effectively do your job. Once you pass your assessments and progress through your course you will be able to start completing tasks on your own. You will be assigned a Development Coach from Remit who will visit you monthly to provide the required teaching and learning, ensure you are competent in completing tasks and on track to achieve your apprenticeship.
