About Skanska Apprenticeships
Skanska Apprenticeships are a great way to kick start your career. You’ll receive on the job training as well as formal study where you’ll work towards a professional qualification in your chosen field of work. During your Apprenticeship, you’ll receive plenty of support from your colleagues and from your mentor who will set you a personalised plan to help improve your weaknesses and encourage your strengths.
Skanska offer Apprenticeships at level 2 or 3 in the following roles:
As an engineering Apprenticeship at Skanska, you’ll develop your knowledge and skill and gain experience in either civil engineering or mechanical and electrical engineering.
As an operations Apprenticeship with Skanska, you could work within street lightening, plumbing, piling, vehicle technician, welder or mechanical fitter.
Skanska Apprenticeships aren’t just about trade industries, you can also gain experience, qualification and skills in IT or administration.
Skanska Apprenticeships will expose you to real life situations with that comes plenty of responsibility. You’ll also be given the opportunity to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award.
