If your egister with our site, you will have the option of uploading or creating a CV on the site. Your CV will be saved in the Careermap CV library, which can be searched by the various employers and training contract providers that we work with. You should only register your CV on the site if you agree that:

  • your CV (and the information contained within it) may be shared with such third parties; and
  • such third parties may contact you to let you know about roles that you may be interested in.

Applying for an advertised role

If you wish to apply for a role that is advertised on the site, you will normally be required to provide certain information that is requested on the site, which may include personal data (that is protected by data protection legislation in the UK).

By submitting such information, you agree that we may provide the information (including your personal data) to the relevant party tha thas advertised the role (which may be the employer itself or a training contract provider, acting on behalf of the employer).

Governing Law:

If you are a consumer, please note that these Terms of Use, their subject matter and their formation, are governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction except that if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.

If you are a business, these Terms of Use, their subject matter and the information (and any non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by English law. We both agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Assignment: You may not assign, sub-license or otherwise transfer any of your rights under the Terms of Use.

Severance: If any part of these Terms of Use is found to be invalid by any court having competent jurisdiction, the validity of the remaining provisions will be unaffected.

Waiver: If either party does not exercise any right or remedy under these Terms of Use, this will not be taken to mean that they have been waived.
