Hospitality Apprenticeships have become more formal over the last few years, with frameworks being in place since the early 2000’s. There are a range of NVQ’s and awards for competences in food & drink services, food processing & cooking, housekeeping and catering.

Hospitality is a sector that is dominated by casual/temporary employment, which means there are a number of valid routes that can lead to a formal qualification recognised throughout the UK and overseas. There are hospitality Apprenticeships available at an intermediate level where you can train to become a waiter/silver service worker, bar/cellar person, housekeeper or even a reception.
