We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 

You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Data Analyst - Level 4 Apprenticeship. 


This role is based in UK. Nettitude has a flexible remote working policy allowing employees to have a flexible hybrid working environment with regular remote working.

The role:

The Data Analyst Apprentice will join Nettitude’s Managed Security Services department to develop skills and knowledge to be able to improve current business reporting, provide extensive analysis on existing and new data, and utilise data modelling to identify data trends for service and business improvements. 

The Data Analyst will be a key member of the Service Assurance Team and will assist the Service Integration & Assurance Lead on a variety of projects to compile, analyse and present data to gain insights across Business wide and Service Operations, Assurance, and Service Improvement activity. 

Key responsibilities:

What you’ll be doing in your role:

Due to continued expansion and growth, we are seeking a Data Analyst Apprentice within our Managed Security Services department.

You will be considered as an integral part of our successful and growing team.

This will include:

  • Identify data for analysis based on business requirements and compile data from multiple sources including data bases, spreadsheets, and existing reports

  • Manipulate, merge and link different data sets and if using rationale for data cleansing

  • Identify, analyse, and interpret data trends/patterns and forecasting

  • Interpretate large data sets and Summarise data findings to provide insights, draw conclusions and make recommendations to present to stakeholders

  • Apply the tools and techniques for data analysis and use interesting and impactful data visualisations for presentations

  • Liaise with teams and colleagues from other areas of the business to establish reporting needs and delivery accurate information

  • Interpret and apply the organisations data and information security standards, policies and procedures to data management activities

  • Use data modelling to produce performance dashboards to aid business decisions making

  • Present results verbally and via written or tool-based reports

Entry requirements:

Standard entry:

  • Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)

  • OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)


  • 5 GCSEs, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above

  • Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)

Candidates must:

  • Be 18 or over before the start data and have the right to live and work in England

  • Have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years

  • Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the program

  • Not be registered to study on a UK government funded course ending June 2022 or later


£20,000 per annum.

Working week:

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm,

40hrs a week.

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programmes offer on-going development tracks.

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
