Financial compliance is a necessity as tough rules and sanctions mean that regulatory bodies are now able to request detailed transaction information, such as phone call logs, on demand, with large fines for companies that do not meet these standards. 


Overview:


We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an apprentice. 


You will have the opportunity to gain valuable skills, knowledge and experience as you complete a Business Analyst - Level 4 Apprenticeship. 


An ideal applicant will have strong experience with regards to working with scripting and automation testing, as well as excellent experience of SDLC. 


Responsibilities     



  • Gather Business Requirements – User Stories

  • Carry out Business process mapping, re-engineering & process analysis & suggest optimizations.

  • Must gain a good understanding of Infrastructure & able to device best suited solutions for each business problems.

  • Create Test Scenarios for UAT & PRD

  • Review of testing approach & material to ensure business requirements are met.

  • Perform configuration per the design documents.

  • Unit test & review objects developed from functional specifications.


What we are looking for: 


Desired skills & experience



  • Excellent communication skills & professional fluency in spoken & written English

  • Attention to details & perfectionism at Business requirement gathering.

  • Basic IT knowledge in software tools, IT Networking, Databases, etc.

  • Understanding of Application Architecture & Software Development Life Cycles & the contribution of a Business Analyst to all the steps of SDLC

  • Excellent documentation skills - Experienced in documenting large Scale projects, preferably End to End Application Development Projects


Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.. 


Entry requirements:


The entry requirements for this programme are as follows:



  • Level 3 Qualification + at least 12 months of work experience* + robust onboarding plan (learner must work in the organisation for 3 months before signing up)

  • OR business-related degree e.g: business, finance, economics, maths, etc.

  • OR non-business-related degree + at least 6 months of work experience*

  • OR existing staff member with 2+ years of work experience**


*Work experience relates to any valid work experience 


**Existing staff work experience should not be in a business analyst role 


You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme. 


If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary: 


£18,000 per annum.


Working week: 


9am - 6pm, Monday to Friday, 


40 per week. 


Future prospects:


The role offers long term security and the opportunity either progress onto further / higher apprenticeship training or gain a permanent position.

QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.


To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
