A friendly primary school is looking to appoint a motivated and ambitious individual to work as a class Teaching Assistant which will involve some 1:1 support work until the end of July... Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant Full-time role running from September 2022 Earn £350-£400 per week as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant Recent graduate with minimum 2:1 in core subject or related degree is essential Work alongside the class teacher to assist pupils completing their work Some 1:1 support work required also - great opportunity to gain a variety of experiences Located 10 minutes from the city of Chester - great transport links available School has a superb reputation for developing outstanding teachers Interviewing remotely immediatelyThe school's aim is to provide the best possible education for their pupils, set within the framework of their curriculum. The role of Teaching Assistant will mean you are expected to fully support the class teacher during lessons and ensure all pupils are keeping on task and understand what they need to do. You will also be expected to work 1:1 on occasions with children who require extra support in order to concentrate in the classroom. As well as this, you will be given the opportunity to work with small groups of children during group tasks and also given the opportunity to be involved in the planning and leading of lessons.
