Job Title: Office Manager Salary: £35,000 per annum, plus bonus and Veolia benefits Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am to 4.30pm Location: Manchester, M15 4RP We live in a world that needs to take care of its resources, and our mission at Veolia is to 'Resource the World'. As a key member of the Facilities Management team, the Office Manager will have responsibility for overseeing the smooth running of day to day operations and facilities on behalf of our client in Manchester. Oversee the day-to-day activities of the office as the main point of contact, keeping management informed of performance with routine and reactive reporting Management of 2 direct reports, to include a Facilities Coordinator and Receptionist Lead on Office and Facilities related projects - supervise and coordinate the work of contractors. Overseeing the work of facilities team reporting into this position. Liaise directly with client 'Heads of Departments' providing support and advise as required Strong communication skills and collaboration with customer Manage all aspects of the office's space/infrastructure planning and provide answers, resources, and solutions as requested Plan for future development in line with strategic business objectives Direct and manage essential services such as reception, maintenance, mail and cleaning Ensure buildings meet health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with current legislation. Monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels - Supporting the Contracts Manager, to meet all KPI's presented in the quarterly governance report Respond appropriately to emergencies and urgent issues as they arise and deal with the consequences.
