About CILEx Apprenticeships CILEx recognises that the ‘traditional’ university route isn’t for everyone and this shouldn’t stop you from having a successful career in the legal system that’s why CILEx Apprenticeships are an excellent step forward to getting a foot in the door to a career you’re passionate about.
Like any other Apprenticeship, you’ll combine on the job training with training off the job, working towards a nationally recognised qualification and earning a salary.
Who can apply? In order to apply for the CILEx Apprenticeship you’ll be required to hold the following qualifications (qualification requirements may vary dependent on the employer):

For the Solicitor/Paralegal Apprenticeship (Advanced) you’ll need to have obtained 3 C’s or above at A Level.

For an Intermediate Apprenticeship, you’ll need 5 GCSE’s at grades A* – C.
