What do Devon County Council Apprenticeships involve?

There are a wide variety of Apprenticeship opportunities at Devon County Council which includes the following:

  • Business and Administration

  • Civil Engineering

  • Town Planning

  • Transport Planning

  • Finance

  • ICT

All the above require 5 A-C GCSE grades (or equivalent) including English and Maths apart from Business and Administration, which requires only an A-C grade (or equivalent) in English and Maths.

As an apprentice at Devon County Council, you’ll earn over £15,000 a year while you’ll also benefit from day-to-day support from your colleagues, employer and learning mentor who will help you to advance your career and progress. During your Apprenticeship with Devon County Council, you’ll also gain exposure to a wide range of learning and development opportunities. As an apprentice, you’ll get a head start on your peers while avoiding the cost of university debt.
