EY currently offers opportunities in Business Apprenticeship in 3 areas of the business. Whichever you join, you’ll have the opportunity to drive lasting change and help build a better working world from day one. The 3 areas are assurance, tax and transactions.

On joining the programme, you’ll have the opportunity to study towards a recognised certification – a professional qualification to progress your skills and expertise as you develop throughout the programme.

Depending on what business area you join as a Business Apprentice, your professional qualification will differ and take up to five years to complete, but once you qualify, you’ll have the same professional qualification you’d normally study for after university, and you’ll earn this sooner than a graduate, with the same career options to look forward to.

Each day will be a diverse, you’ll be given plenty of opportunities and face various challenges whilst developing transferable skills to reach your full potential. EY advise many of the world’s leading companies on the issues of today that are shaping tomorrow.

Which areas do EY offer Apprenticeships in?

EY offers apprenticeships in the following areas:

Assurance – This apprenticeship with EY will enable you to learn about the clients, their businesses and how they work. You’ll ensure they are protected from any risks which could negatively impact their performance and ultimately their reputation.

IT Risk and Assurance – Businesses rely heavily upon IT and data. This apprenticeship will help you to learn how to solve key IT issues while testing and analysing IT controls. Are you a natural at problem solving? This could be the career for you!

Transactions – This apprenticeship will help you to develop relationships with clients while teaching you to solve crucial business issues.

Tax – Tax rules are constantly changing. You’ll learn all about tax reporting, technical research and data analysis while keeping up with the latest rules.

EY apprenticeships are available across the UK including: Birmingham, Belfast, Bristol, Glasgow, Exeter, Leeds, London, Manchester, Newcastle and Reading.
