Beauty Apprenticeships

During your Beauty Apprenticeships course, you will become competent in:
Health and safety regulations in the workplace and learn about regulations in the beauty industry
You will learn how to administer facial skin care
Provide care for eyebrows and eyelashes
Providing waxing treatments on the body
Providing manicure services on nails on hands
Providing pedicure services on feet
Make-up
Carrying out duties on reception

Hair Apprenticeships

During a Hairdressing Apprenticeship your daily responsibilities will involve:
Shampooing/Conditioning hair
Keeping the salon clean and tidy
Greeting clients
Making refreshments
Answering the telephone
Making and booking appointments
Preparing clients for further services/treatments

In time you will also work towards:
Blow drying
Colouring hair
Cutting hair
Some reception duties may also be included

You don’t dream of success, you go out and get it. Being good as Hair and Beauty isn’t always about the hair and the finishing result but about the experience of the customer and how they feel at the end of it. An Apprenticeship in this industry can lead to many pathways upon completion, you could work towards management levels, senior roles, save up and buy your own shop, do mobile Hair and Beauty meaning you can travel to your client.
