An opportunity has arisen for a hairdressing Apprentice in a popular salon in London. This will require you to work accurately and efficiently, you won’t just transform how a person looks but also how they feel about themselves. As part of the beauty industry, hairdressing is a constant, recession proof and in-demand service.

What could you be doing?

Hairdressing apprentices will be required to assist experienced stylists in all aspects of work that they do which can include colouring, cutting or styling hair (tease and blow drying).

A woman’s hair is a statement of style, an affirmation of beauty, and an expression of self-love. As a hairdresser, your client is trusting you to make them feel beautiful.

Your tasks may include: greeting customers, shampooing hair, simple cutting and styling, keeping the salon clean and tidy, ordering materials, making appointments and refreshments and handling payments. You will then progress to colouring and perming hair.

The hair is like a symbol of a woman’s emotions, a desire for change is a sign of a need for independence, forgetting about an event, or concluding a chapter in life so far. As an Apprentice Hairdresser, you will assist them in the revitalisation, and metamorphosis.
