Working in the hospitality industry is rewarding but can also be very demanding.
You will deal with awkward customers, that is inevitable. Dealing with rude customers can turn a whole day into a nightmare. But to gain rudeness immunity remember:

You must be able to communicate clearly and confidently, apply problem-solving skills on a regular basis, navigate different computer systems, work irregular hours, and work closely with management and work collaboratively in a team environment.
What will your responsibilities include?
Jobs will include:
- Welcoming guests
- Taking food and drink orders
- Checking the guest is happy with their experience
- Dealing with complaints
- Taking bill payments
- Dealing with online bookings and telephone bookings
- Simply satisfying customers will not be enough to earn their loyalty. Instead, they must experience exceptional service worthy of their repeat business and referral. You will need to understand the factors that drive this customer revolution.
Taking everything into consideration an apprenticeship in hospitality won’t just provide you with on the job experience and a qualification to then progress later it also teaches you life skills which will be beneficial to other jobs.
