Role – We’re looking for an experiencedAzure Cosmos DB Administrator and Developerto take a leading role in the design, development, and optimization of cloud-native applications within the banking and financial services sector.
This is a high-impact role focused on building secure, scalable, and high-performance systems for real-time data processing. You'll architect innovative solutions usingAzure Cosmos DB (SQL API and Mongo API), develop reusable libraries and frameworks withC#/.NET or Node.js, and implement best-in-classCI/CD pipelinesthroughAzure DevOps.

Key skills:

Proven experience designing scalable applications with Azure Cosmos DB, including query optimization and throughput management.
Strong background in concurrency patterns, CLR (Common Language Runtime), and scalable system architecture.
Hands-on expertise in Azure services, including Azure Functions, App Services, AKS, and Logic Apps.
Experience with NoSQL data modeling and distributed systems.
Proficiency with version control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.).
Advanced skills in C#, ASP.NET, and .NET Core, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design principles.
Familiarity with Node.js in backend development contexts.
Exposure to secure coding practices and financial data compliance frameworks (e.g., PCI DSS, GDPR).
Consulting background is a plus.
Strong communication skills (oral & written)

Responsibilities:

Architect and develop scalable, cloud-native applications using Azure Cosmos DB (SQL and Mongo APIs).
Design effective partitioning strategies, indexing, and consistency models for high-performance systems.
Build and maintain reusable components, libraries, and frameworks using C#/.NET or Node.js.
Develop CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps to automate and accelerate deployments.
Monitor and optimize Cosmos DB performance using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
Implement automated unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.
Integrate Cosmos DB into modern microservices ecosystems in collaboration with architecture and DevOps teams.
Ensure full compliance with industry-standard security, governance, and data protection regulations.
Drive alignment between technology implementations and business outcomes.
Contribute to strategic projects that advance digital transformation in the financial domain.
