We will be offering an AAT apprenticeship Level 2 to 4 (approx. 3 years) with the potential opportunity for a full time role upon completion. As an apprentice you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced finance staff, gain job-specific skills and be given the time to study whilst earning a wage!

This is a full-time role of 37.5 hours between Monday and Friday, with 20% of your time doing your apprenticeship. The apprenticeship provider will be Kaplan and  programmes include scheduled, tutor-led technical courses studied via Live Online or in the classroom at one of their training locations.

As the Finance Apprentice you will provide support to both the Finance Team and other colleagues. Your role will involve assisting in the day-to-day financial activities, including but not limited to, Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger, Balance Sheet control account reconciliations, expenditure analysis and General Ledger journals.

For this role you will need to have to have the following essential criteria:

  • A keen interest in Finance. 
  • The willingness to study towards an AAT Qualification.
  • 5 GCSEs at Grades 9 to 4, including Maths and English.
  • Knowledge of all Microsoft office applications, with a higher level of knowledge of excel (preferred, but training will be given)
  • Ability to work well in a team.
