Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic IT Apprentice to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to kick-start their career in IT, gain hands-on experience, and grow within a supportive environment. The successful candidate will work alongside our experienced IT team and be involved in a variety of day-to-day support and technical tasks.
Vacancy description:
- Logging IT support tickets and taking incoming support calls.
- Setting up new devices and building computers from scratch.
- Learning and working with PC hardware and software.
- Diagnosing and repairing PC faults in our on-site workshop.
- Remotely accessing customer computers to resolve IT issues.
- Troubleshooting and resolving IT issues at our office for visiting clients.
- Managing and updating the IT support calendar.
- Assisting senior IT staff with project-based work and deployments.
Desirable skills:
- Some practical experience or a passion for IT (e.g., building computers or fixing tech issues at home) would be advantageous but not essential.
- Good communication skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Entry requirements:
- 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
- Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject.
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.
If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Working hours:
9am – 5:30pm (with 1 hour lunch break).
