WN1 IT have been established in the industry for twenty years and are a managed service provider, providing IT support and managed internet services. 


Overview: 
We are now looking for an eager candidate to join us as an IT L3 Apprentice. 
We have successfully employed apprentices in the past, and due to current demand and growth within the business they are looking for an IT Helpdesk Support Engineer to join the team. 


Main responsibilities:



  • Answering of calls
  • Creating tickets
  • Updating help system
  • Helping to resolve IT tickets
  • Setup of new IT equipment
  • Administration of IT systems
  • Creating new accounts


What we are looking for:
Desired experience: 
The successful candidate should be-able to demonstrate a passion for IT and customer service.


Ideally having some experience/knowledge in some of the following areas/technologies will be highly beneficial: 



  • Remote support tools and monitoring
  • Windows 10 to 11 desktop support
  • Microsoft Office suite support


Desired skills: 



  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Good ability to work through a problem and find a solution
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to communicate at an appropriate level for the audience
  • Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to provide excellent customer service
  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows operating system environments 


Personal qualities: 



  • Ability to work alone and part of team 
  • Willingness to learn 
  • Comfortable to ask for help 


Entry requirements:



  • 3 GCSE's (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
  • Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship is in a similar subject


You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.


If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:£14,000 - £16,000 per annum.
