Join usat Ibstock PLCas aManufacturing Management Traineeand work towards aLevel 5 Higher Apprenticeship in Mineral Productsover the next four years. You will study specialist modules, including Clay Evaluation and Investigation, at the University of Derby. In addition, you will also complete aLevel 3 Team Leaderapprenticeship. You’ll earn while you learn, gaining a nationally recognised qualification and developing the skills needed to step into key roles likeAssistant Technical Managerupon completion. In addition to this, upon successful completion, we would be happy to support you with progression towards a full degree in BSc (Hons) Minerals Management.

What You'll Be Doing:
- A vital member of our operational team, you’ll ensure compliance with ourQuality, Energy, and Environmental Management Systems.
- Conduct sampling, testing, and analysis of raw materials and finished products, playing a key role in maintaining our high standards.
- Help monitor and report on key performance data throughout the manufacturing process.
- Collaborate on developingSafe Standard Operating ProceduresandRisk Assessments.
- Investigate and analyse customer feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Someone practical and hands-on, with a real passion for learning and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
- 5 GCSEsat Grade 4-9 (or equivalent) including Maths, English, and Science.
- A-levels/BTECin Science or equivalent would be advantageous.
- A full UK driving licence is advantageous, along with the flexibility to travel if needed.
