The RME Apprenticeship Programme Manager L4 is a core member of the EU L&D Apprenticeship team and plays a key role in ensuring successful implementation of the program across the UK and supports the wider EU team by supporting the delivery of CI projects.
The role holder reports directly to the Snr Apprenticeship Program Manager for RME schemes in the UK. Some travel across the UK and EU will be required to attend apprentice training centres and team meetings.


Key job responsibilities
•Support operations business areas (CF, ATS, AMZL) with the apprenticeship schemes (RME Mechatronics, RME AE, TAP Driver)
•Support the monitoring of apprentice progress across all years of the apprenticeship by tracking apprentices progress and program metrics through internal and external tools
•Work closely with the line managers of apprentices during year 1 of the apprenticeship to ensure that timely interventions are made to support apprentices progress, attendance and timely achievements of all required qualifications and trainings
•Support the apprenticeship program by analysing survey results and actioning activities to help drive up survey results
•Partner with a variety of stakeholders internally and externally
•Support the apprenticeship program by organizing and tracking all relevant program costs
•Support/own EU wide apprenticeship CI projects
•Support communication to apprentices and manage and execute on-boarding activities
•Support recruiting and marketing activities, including participation in events, job fairs and assessments
•Support the coordination and planning of apprenticeship engagement events
•Develop content for the regular Apprenticeship updates to share information and celebrate successes across all schemes;


A day in the life
In this role you can expect to interact regularly with apprentices, line managers and training providers as you support apprentices to progress through their learning programme. You will work with the Snr Programme Manager to deep dive into survey results and other data to create and implement strategies that will continually improve the apprenticeships for apprentices and the business. You will attend regular reviews with training providers both face to face and virtually and action timely interventions to ensure issues are dealt with promptly.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in program or project management
- Experience with Excel

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
