Shipping Coordinator
£30,000 - £35,000
Portsmouth
Monday to Friday- Early finishes on a Friday
Wild Recruitment are pleased to be partnered with a unique business in their search for a Shipping Coordinator to join their growing team.
We are looking for someone who has experience in a Shipping, Freight or Logistics position
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate end-to-end shipments
Liaise with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and warehouses
Track shipments and proactively resolve any delivery or documentation issues
Oversee and implement HMRC Compliance changes
Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and accurate completion of all necessary documentation
Maintain shipping records, update ERP systems, and generate status reports
Collaborate with procurement, customer service, and operations teams to meet delivery deadlines
Provide exceptional communication and problem-solving support to clients regarding shipment status
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a logistics, shipping, or freight-forwarding role
Knowledge of international trade terms, customs processes, and transport documentation
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency in logistics software or ERP systems is a plus
