Salary: £45,000 - £47,500


T2M are recruiting on behalf of an innovative manufacturing company for a Strategic Planning Specialist.


As a Strategic Planning Specialist, you will play a key role in shaping and evolving the business strategy and mid-term planning. You’ll be a central force in driving business management activities that support organisational growth and strategic objectives.


As a Strategic Planning Specialist your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the design and evolution of the business strategy and midterm planning, ensuring alignment with overall growth and transformation goals.
  • Facilitate strategic planning workshops and collaborate with different departments to shape actionable short-, medium-, and long-term initiatives.
  • Drive cross-functional projects from concept to implementation, including operational and financial planning for new business lines.
  • Deliver accurate financial and business performance reports to the Senior Leadership Team and stakeholders, highlighting risks and strategic implications.
  • Proactively identify areas of underperformance and recommend interventions to ensure delivery against business plans.
  • Maintain strong data integrity standards to support reliable decision-making and reporting.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to influence and drive strategic outcomes.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform planning and keep the organisation ahead of emerging trends and risks.
  • Flexibility to travel as required for stakeholder engagement and project delivery.


Requirements to be a successful Strategic Planning Specialist:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proven expertise in negotiation and analysis.
  • You take initiative and work well independently
  • Strong ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Experience developing strategic plans and models, with the resilience to navigate uncertainty and lead through change.
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Business Management, Strategic Management, International Business, or a related field.


This is a hybrid role based at their Telford site, offering a blend of on-site collaboration and remote working.
