What do we offer?

Our two-year graduate scheme, the Training Programme, is the UK’s largest teacher training programme. In joining, you will:

How it begins

Your journey begins with initial training at the Institute via hybrid delivery, combining online and some in-person days. We also offer a part-time option for the Institute if needed. You will then begin teaching in school in September.

Continue progressing at your school, apply for jobs in other schools or explore completely different sectors. 

You’ll become an ambassador, joining our 16,000-strong network and benefitting from career-long support, wherever you go next.

Over 100 of our ambassadors are already head-teachers, and others have founded social enterprises and even joined government.

How to apply

To be eligible for our programme, you need a 2:1 or above in your undergraduate degree as well as qualifications that align with a national curriculum subject offered on our programme. You can view full eligibility requirementshere.
