About our programme:

Our development programme consists of five modules and runs in parallel to your permanent job. The modules are designed to bring out your interpersonal and leadership skills, and complement the hands-on technical experience that you will gain in your role.

We will also fully fund your academic qualification, the qualification you are enrolled on will be tailored to the role you will be doing, your academic level and personal ambitions. (We offer apprenticeships as well as other qualifications at various levels).

What you will be doing:

The role of the Trainee Planner is to provide planning support to the Infrastructure Business of Galliford Try as well as projects if required. Your main duties will be:

Assist/support Planner(s) in the preparation of master programmes
Analyse/assist / support Planner(s) in labour resource and plant
Assist/support Planner(s) in the preparation of reports
Assist/support Planner(s) in maintenance of different schedules
Assist/support Planner(s) in assessing project progress positions
Assist/support Planner(s) in production of graphical presentations.
Assist/support / co-ordinate the distribution of planning and project controls information
Support the smooth running of planning and project controls department
Assist/support Planner(s) in compiling as built Information and records.
