What do RWE Generation Apprenticeships involve?
RWE Generation Apprenticeships combine in depth academic study with hands on training on the job. Throughout your Apprenticeship with RWE Generation you will be supported to gain industry specific qualifications, skills and vital experience whilst even getting paid. RWE Generation Apprenticeships open a wealth of learning and development opportunities, so you’ll truly understand and build your knowledge on the technical and practical skills required to succeed.
During your Apprenticeship you’ll attend college as part of your academic study where you’ll gain nationally recognised qualifications. All expenses will be paid while you are away from home.
This is a 4 year Apprenticeship allowing you to complete your Apprenticeships as a craft specialist. During year 1 and 2 you’ll gain a BTEC level 3 diploma and a NVQ Level 2 in engineering practices. Year 3 and 4 will see you progress to an NVQ level 3 in power plant maintenance where you’ll be given the opportunity to specialise in one of the following roles: Mechanical, Electrical, Control & Instrumentation, Mechanical & Electrical, Electrical Control & Instrumentation.
What are the entry requirements?
RWE Generation Apprenticeships require at least 5 GCSEs at grade C or above including Science, Maths and English.
