What do Finning Apprenticeships involve?

Finning Apprenticeships offer school leavers the opportunity to get a head start on their engineering career through a combination of on the job training and academic study. During your Apprenticeship with Finning you will advance your capabilities, develop your skills and gain vital work experience whilst also working towards a nationally recognised qualification and you’ll even get paid!

You could be working with some of the latest innovative Caterpillar machinery where you’ll put your training into practice. Duties can include diagnostic repairs, and servicing Cat engines and equipment whilst putting customer experience and safety at the heart of everything that you do! Throughout your Finning Apprenticeship, you’ll be supported by your training and colleagues to ensure you grow professionally and personally.

Your training will take place at Finning’s purpose-built academy in Cannock where you’ll gain a wealth of learning and development opportunities. As well as training at the Finning Academy you will also be working in one of their branches enabling you to gain all the skills and experience needed to succeed.

Once you have completed your Apprenticeship with Finning you’ll be a Caterpillar® Qualified Engineer and ready to kick-start your long and fulfilling career in a workshop or field service team.
