What do Jet2 Apprenticeships involve?

A Jet2 Apprenticeship involves a mixture of academic study and training on the job which will allow you to gain practical work experience, essential skills and a nationally recognised qualification while also getting paid. Jet2 Apprenticeships provide you with excellent progression routes in a growing business.

There are a range of Apprenticeships available at Jet2 including the following:

Engineering Apprenticeships are a great way to start your career if you’re passionate about the aviation industry and engineering. Throughout your Apprenticeship, you’ll be given the opportunity to gain a Level 2 & Level 3 Diploma in Aerospace and Aviation and a Level 3 Diploma in Aircraft Maintenance enabling you to forge a long and fulfilling career within the industry.

Pilot Apprenticeships at Jet2 are an outstanding opportunity where you’ll develop relationships across flight operations and the whole of the business whilst also building your knowledge, demonstrating your capabilities and developing your skills. To begin with you’ll work across the Contact Centre, Operations, Finance, Human Resources, Jet2holidays and Engineering Teams enabling you to receive full exposure to the Jet2 business and building your aviation understanding.

You’ll then enter the world of commercial aviation as a second officer and to be successful with the application stages you’ll be required to have the following –

UK Issued Frozen ATPL Pilots Licence, Current Class One Medical, Valid UK driving licence, Completed an MCC and JOC course, ATPL Theory exam results, Maintain your flying ‘currency’ through training and/or regular flying, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Experience of IT systems, Flexibility to work across nine of the Jet2 UK bases
