Stagecoach Apprenticeships provide school leavers with a credible alternative to college and university. Are you keen to start working and gaining experience? Is sitting in a classroom all day not for you? Just because traditional academic study doesn’t suit you doesn’t mean you have to stop learning and gaining a qualification with a Stagecoach Apprenticeship you can get the best of both worlds!

What do Stagecoach Apprenticeships involve? Stagecoach Apprenticeships offer a work-based learning route that will combine academic study with practical on the job training so if you prefer hands on learning then a Stagecoach Apprenticeship could be just what you’re looking for! Apprenticeships with Stagecoach will equip you with a range of skills, essential work experience and a nationally recognised qualification relevant to the industry you’re keen to pursue a career within.

Stagecoach Apprenticeships

Stagecoach currently offers two Apprenticeships which involve a 4 year programme in ‘Mechelec’ (a combined mechanical and electrical qualification) or Body / Coachbuilder. Engineers at Stagecoach play a crucial role in the maintenance and safe operation at Stagecoach so if you want to build your career capabilities, grow your talent and ensure Stagecoach continues to build their reliable reputation then an Apprenticeship can help you do exactly that.

During your Apprenticeship with Stagecoach you’ll receive an abundance of support by your colleagues and learning mentor who all want you to be the best that you can be. Once you have completed your training you will be a qualified Level 3 Bus and Coach Engineering Maintenance.

Applications are open from the 1st of May each year and if successful you will begin your Apprenticeship with Stagecoach in September / October. To apply you are required to have obtained or be expected to obtain Science, Maths and English GCSEs at grade C/4 and above.
