About United Utilities - When you switch on the tap and water flows that’s all thanks to United Utilities. Without them, you wouldn’t be able to just jump into the shower whenever you wanted or turn on the washing machine. United Utilities cover the whole of the North West and supply 1700 million litres of water every day.

United Utilities Apprenticeships involve a work-based learning package which combines practical on the job training with off the job training meaning you can gain essential work experience and put your theoretical knowledge into practice. On your journey with a United Utilities Apprenticeship, you’ll also gain industry specific skills and a nationally recognised qualification enabling you to forge a long and fulfilling career.

During your Apprenticeship with United Utilities you’ll be given plenty of opportunities to grow your talent and support from your colleagues, employer and learning mentor who will encourage your personal development to help you to achieve your true potential.

There are a variety of Apprenticeship levels that you can undertake at United Utilities from intermediate to degree. So whatever stage of your education you’re currently at there’s bound to be the perfect role for you!

There are a few stages to the United Utilities application process, to begin with you’ll submit your online application and then undertake an online assessment to identify your strengths and weaknesses. You’ll then be invited to a video interview and upon success you’ll be asked to attend an assessment day/final interview and then it’s over to United Utilities to offer you a position with them.

Want to earn at least £12,500 a year with a rise each year? At United Utilities not only will you receive a rise each year but you’ll also be eligible for a yearly bonus of up to 7.5%. You’ll also receive 26 days paid annual leave each year which you’ll be given the option to sell or buy more holiday.

If your role involves driving to and from sites in a company vehicle, you’ll also receive 10 driving lessons with all costs covered.
