Make a budget of all your incomings and outgoings, then see what’s left over and allow yourself a small amount of that to treat yourself, if you’ve got any left over then it’s a bonus and you can add it to your savings.
5. Save money on the shopping
Don’t ever go to the shops on an empty stomach, we can guarantee you’ll end up buying any food in sight. Also, if you’re trying to save money buy value products these are a lot cheaper than branded products and you might find they aren’t so bad after all. Another tip for food shopping is to go at the end of the day (once you’ve had a good meal to fill you up of course). If you go towards the end of the day things that are going out of date are discounted and you can always freeze certain things such as bread.
6. Friends that cook together stick together
