Escape studios awarded silver tef rating 2023

Escape Studios has been awarded a silver rating by The Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF). This rating was awarded in September 2023, for four years. A silver rating indicates that ‘the student experience and student outcomes are typically very high quality’ for students at Escape Studios.

The TEF is a national scheme run by the Office for Students that aims to encourage higher education providers to excel in the areas that students most care about. The TEF panel examines a variety of sources to consider how well a university or college performs for its mix of undergraduate students and across the range of its undergraduate courses and subjects. 228 higher education providers in England took part in the TEF 2023, and students had the opportunity to submit their views on the quality of their educational experience and outcomes through a student submission.

Escape Studios’ Principal, Dr Ian Palmer, has said:

"We're delighted that we have been awarded Silver by the Office for Students in their Teaching Excellence Framework 2023 assessment. The recognition that our student experience is of high quality is a result of the way our community of staff, students and industry partners work together to provide a professional and supportive learning environment.

It's particularly pleasing to see that our student outcomes were deemed to be of very high quality, ultimately this is what will make the difference to our students' career prospects. We won’t rest though, and we’ll press on with our commitment to continuous improvement, working to make these areas even better in the future. "
