Types of Prince's Trust Courses

The Prince’s Trust offers a wide range of courses.

Fairbridge Course

If you’re looking to try something new then the Fairbridge course is the perfect opportunity for you to develop new skills and confidence. The Fairbridge course will offer you the chance to participate in a mix of group activities and individual support. This course gives you the chance to take part in outdoor adventures and residential trip. You’ll then choose from a variety of activities ranging from photography to drama and cooking to sports. Whatever your goals the Prince’s Trust will help you reach them.

Enterprise Course

Are you age 18-30? Do you want to start your own business? The Prince’s Trust course in starting your own business could be just what you’ve been looking for.

If you have a business plan or an idea but just don’t know how to put that plan into action then the Prince’s Trust can help! You can sign up and enjoy the course in person or get the support you need online via an e-mentor. You’ll kick start this programme off with an information session, you’ll then learn about everything required to run a business, covering business planning and marketing, sales, budgeting, and tax.

It’s then time to start building your business with the chance to apply for funding. The Prince’s Trust will then invite you to a business launch and once the programme is completed you’ll still have a mentor for 2 years after.

Get Into

Are you looking to gain experience and training to move into a certain field of work and kick start your career? The Prince’s Trust course Get Into will help you gain employability skills. This course is aimed at 16-30 year olds who are not in work, education or training and live in the UK.

There is a wide range of industries that the Get Into programme offers such as retail, construction, hospitality, and many more, you’re guaranteed to gain invaluable work experience and skills needed to gain employment.

Confidence Boosters

Do you want to boost your confidence? If you’re between 16-25 and unemployed, the Prince’s Trust course will help you gain new skills, build your confidence, take a qualification, build your CV and meet new people.

This is a 12 week course where you’ll be challenged with:

A community project where you can make a positive impact
Action-filled trip
2 weeks of work experience
Development of Maths and English skills

Get Started

Are you looking to discover a new talent? The Get Started program is aimed at 16-25 year olds who aren’t employed, in education or training and are looking to discover new talent, gain skills and confidence. The Prince’s Trust has partnered with the Premier League, ASOS and Sony so you really will have the opportunity to reach your full potential with courses covering everything from sports to fashion and even music!

Mosaic

Improve your chance of employability with Mosaic. This course is aimed at 9-30 years olds who are living in poor, disadvantaged communities.

Achieve

Unlock your potential with the Achieve course. This personal development course is aimed at 11-19 year olds. It offers an alternative approach to learning through practical skills and can be delivered in various areas such as youth centers, pupil referral units, and youth offender institutions.
