Scotland's Rural College
Founded in 2012, Scotland's Rural College (SRUC) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the medium-sized city of Edinburgh, Scotland, with a population between 250,000 and 499,999. The college also has branch campuses in Aberdeen, Dumfries, Cupar, and Glasgow. Officially recognized by the Privy Council, SRUC is a very small, coeducational UK institution with an enrollment of 1,000 to 1,999 students.
SRUC offers a variety of programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees, including pre-bachelor’s qualifications (such as certificates, diplomas, and foundation degrees), bachelor’s degrees, master’s degrees, and doctoral degrees across several fields of study. The college follows a selective admission process based on students' academic performance, and international students are encouraged to apply.
In addition to its academic offerings, SRUC provides several student services, including a library and administrative support, to enhance the learning experience.
