Established in 1992, the University of East London (UEL) is a public, non-profit higher education institution located in the vibrant and diverse metropolis of London, with an additional campus in Stratford. Officially recognised by the Privy Council, UEL serves a large and inclusive student body of approximately 10,000 to 14,999 learners.

UEL offers a wide range of accredited programmes leading to pre-bachelor’s qualifications (such as certificates, diplomas, and foundation degrees), as well as bachelor's, master's, and doctoral degrees across multiple fields of study. Admissions are selective and based on academic performance and, in some cases, entrance examinations.
