Founded in 1992, the University of Sunderland is a non-profit public institution located in the vibrant city of Sunderland in North East England. With additional campuses in London and Hong Kong, the University offers a truly global learning experience.

Officially recognised by the Privy Council, the University of Sunderland is a large, coeducational UK higher education institution, with an enrolment of approximately 10,000 to 14,999 students. It delivers a wide range of academic programmes leading to officially recognised qualifications, including pre-bachelor’s awards (such as certificates, diplomas, foundation and associate degrees), as well as bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees across various fields of study.

With a selective admissions process based on academic performance, the University welcomes applications from students around the world.
