University of Wales
Founded in 1893, the University of Wales is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the suburban area of Cardiff, a medium-sized city in Wales with a population between 250,000 and 499,999. The University also operates branch campuses in Aberystwyth, Bangor, Carmarthen, Lampeter, Newport, Swansea, and Wrexham.
Officially chartered by the Privy Council, the University of Wales is a large coeducational institution with an enrollment exceeding 50,000 students.
