THE ARMY OFFICER INTERNSHIP – A YEAR OF REAL LEADERSHIP

The Army Internship Programme gives students the chance to spend 12 months experiencing life as an Army Officer — before, during, or after university. It’s a unique opportunity to build confidence, gain leadership skills, and see the Army from the inside.

Interns receive world-class leadership training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, just like Army Reserve Officers. Afterwards, you’ll complete role-specific training before joining a regular Army unit in the UK or overseas. You’ll shadow Officers, take part in daily duties, and learn how to lead teams of up to 30 soldiers.

An Army Internship offers exceptional leadership experience, personal development, and a genuine understanding of Army life. After your year, you can choose to continue as a Reservist, pursue a career as a regular Army Officer, or take your new skills into a completely different profession.
