Funding university can be difficult, but the Army has many ways to help fund higher education
Army Officers take charge and provide support for their troops. From the beginning, our Officers will be entrusted with a managerial position, overseeing a group of soldiers under their command. Their leadership abilities and expertise in their field will be utilized to ensure that their team operates productively and to the best of their abilities.

Standard Bursary – Up to £7,000: Students can get between £6,000 / £7,000 on a three/four- year degree course. Students will need to pass the Army Officer Selection Board and join the University Officer Training Corps before they are eligible. Students who apply in their first year will get £2,000 each year, with £1000 for the final year if they are on a 4 year course. Students who apply in their final year will get the full amount as a single payment.
Enhanced Bursary – Up to £24,000: Students can apply either before or during their first year, they will get £6,000 in years 1 - 3 and a further £6,000 when they commission. If students apply in their second year of university, they will receive £9,000 in years 2 & 3 and £6,000 when they commission. Students with at least ABB at A Level and on track for at least a 2:1 degree can apply.
STEM Bursary – Up to £42,740:(£5k yearly bursary + tuition fees) for students on STEM degree courses commissioning into the Royal Engineers, Royal Signals, Royal Logistic Corps, Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, Royal Artillery, all branches of the Adjutant's General's Corps, Army Air Corps or Intelligence Corps.
