Minister of State for Universities recognises the importance of National Graduate Week

Careermap is delighted that Michelle Donelan MP, Minister of State for Universities, supports National Graduate Week and recognises the need to support students and graduates at this challenging time:

“Graduating in any year is a big step. I still remember the mixture of excitement and nervousness I felt as a graduate deciding what was to come, and I welcome National Graduate Week as a brilliant way to support students in making this transition.

Whether they are planning to jump straight into work, get experience as a paid intern or extend their studies, I urge organisations, universities and students to get involved this week and help ensure every graduate has the support they need to choose the career path that works best for them and their futures.”

National Graduate Week is a time to celebrate all things graduate talent! Graduates can connect with the UK’s biggest and best employers and recruitment agencies to help them with the next steps after graduation. This is an action packed week with live events from industry bodies and top employers, who will share insights into the recruitment process, virtual assessment centres, how to master your CV, life in the sector plus much more. Graduates will also have the chance to ask the experts any questions they may have enabling them to get inside knowledge first-hand!
